Unusually for a Maui venue, hiring a wedding coordinator is explicitly optional — the garden states it does not require one, though its on-site coordinator Ku'ulei works with whomever couples bring. The grounds stay open to the public 365 days a year for self-guided tours, which means couples can walk every potential ceremony spot for the price of admission before committing. Aviaries, a covered bridge, rock formations, and dense collections of protea and native plants give photographers material that has nothing in common with the standard beach portfolio.
